Season Opening - Learn to Curl 9/28/24 (Saturday 3:15pm)

Our opening week is your chance to take a lesson before we start our leagues the week of Sun  Sept 29th.  All are welcome to join as an individual or with friends,   Thursday Night has a focus for new curlers though you can join any league,  Any wanting more practice, should check out our "Open Play" opportunities.

About...
 A volunteer club member will show you the fundamentals to sliding a stone and sweeping, giving you the foundation to build your curling skills and more importantly get accustomed to the ice and ready to play a match your next time out.

Who:  Anyone wanting to curl is welcome.  Curlers are typically 8-80+ years, men or women.  Most try as individuals, but you can bring along your friends, family, or coworkers to join you! Modification can be made for individuals with back or knee limitations, as well as, curling is great for individuals in wheelchairs.

What to Bring:   Bring a clean pair of shoes to change into that have good grip on a smooth surface, layered loose fitted clothes that will keep you warm at 45 degrees.  We have a limited supply of helmets, so you are welcome to bring your own if you want additional safety while on the ice rink.  

Individual Cost:   $25 per individual 

Cancellation:   We reserve the right to cancel any Learn-to-Curl and refunds will be issued.  If the participants cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice, refunds will not be given.
