Friday Beginner Open Ice

Description: 

Open Ice is time ment for practice, coaching or playing a match.  Choose your interests and we will make our best effort to accomodate given our space and volunteer instructors.   Each choice are for all curlers regardless of your experience level. Matches will be randomly put together or selected by the draw master from a pool of registered individuals, our regulars (mentors) and those who drop in last minute if space is available.

New curlers must take a learn to curl any time prior to playing a game, practice, or get additional coaching

  Who: Anyone wanting to curl is welcome, new or experienced, individually or together with friends. 

  When:  At date and time posted

  Where: KC Curling Club 2525 NW S Outer Rd, Blue Springs, MO 64015 (lower level)

 What to Bring: 

• • Wear a clean pair of soft rubber soled shoes that have good grip on a smooth surface.
  • Layered loose fitted clothes that will keep you warm at 45 degrees. 
  • We have limited helmets, so you are welcome to bring your own if you want additional safety while on the ice rink.
  • Signed Waiver or be prepared to sign one at the rink.

  Individual Cost: $25 for non-members or Free if your first time after a learn to curl lesson or signed up in of a current league  / $10 for just members / Free for League members
