About..

Curling is a great sport for couples and friends.  A volunteer club member will show you each the fundamentals to sliding a stone and sweeping.  This gives you the foundation to build your curling skills, and more importantly, get accustomed to the ice when you are ready to play a match.

Who:   Anyone wanting to curl is welcome.  This event is great for those looking to try something together.  Curlers are typically 8-80+ years, for both men and women.

Where:   Line Creek Community Center 5940 NW Waukomis Drive, Kansas City, MO 64151

What to Bring:   Wear a clean pair of soft rubber soled shoes that have good grip on a smooth surface, and layered loose-fitted clothes that will keep you warm at 45 degrees.  We have limited helmets, so you are welcome to bring your own if you want additional safety while on the ice rink.  

Individual Cost:   $30 per individual.  A $10 coupon is given towards joining our next league.

Cancellation:   We reserve the right to cancel any Learn to Curl and refunds will be issued.  If the participants cancels with less than 48 hours notice, refunds will not be given.
