Learn To Curl 1/12 (4:00-6:00)

About...
This is for new curlers. A club instructor will show you the fundamentals to throwing a stone and sweeping. This will help build the foundation to your curling skills while acclimating yourself to the ice, and get you ready to play a match.

 Who:   Anyone wanting to curl is welcome.  Curlers are typically 8-80+ years old.  You may signupas an individual, couple, or in a group.  

 When: During the posted time or offered anytime we have an open sheet during league play or at special event. 

 Where:  Line Creek Community Center 5940 NW Waukomis Drive, Kansas City, MO 64151

 What to Bring: 

• • Wear a clean pair of soft rubber soled shoes that have good grip on a smooth surface.
  • Layered, loose-fitted clothes that will keep you warm at 45 degrees. 
  • We have limited helmets, so you are welcome to bring your own if you want for  additional safety while on the ice rink.
  • Signed Waiver for Adult and/or Child, or be prepared to sign one at the rink.

 Individual Cost:   $25 per individual normally,  $15 if you join a league afterwords or a group up to 10 individuals can rent a sheet for $150.  Payment cash, check or via credit card using Square.

 Sheet Rental:   If you want the entire sheet for your group, you will want to register 10 spots.  Otherwise we will let others fill spots that are left available.  If 10 spots are not available, then you will either share the remaining spots or the sheet will not be available.

 Cancellation:   We reserve the right to cancel any Learn-to-Curl and will notify you before hand and will refund your payment.
