Free Open House

About:
Get a chance to try curling by sliding a stone on us for FREE!  This shortened Learn-to-Curl session is a great way to get a sense of what curling is like.  Tell all your family and friends to come check us out!

 Who:  Anyone wanting to curl is welcome.  Curlers are typically 8-80+ years old. You can try as an individual, or as a group of friends, family, or coworkers. Curling can be modified to fit any abilitly level of most people, including those with limited flexibility, disabilities, or even those in wheelchairs. 

  When:   Jan. 4th, 2020 starting at 5:45 pm and ending at 7:00 pm

  Where:   Line Creek Community Center 5940 NW Waukomis Drive, Kansas City, MO 64151

  What to Bring: 

• • Wear a clean pair of soft rubber soled shoes that have good grip on a smooth surface
  • Layered loose fitted clothes that will keep you warm at 45 degrees. 
  • We have limited helmets, so you are welcome to bring your own if you want additional safety while on the ice rink.
  • Signed waiver or be prepared to sign one at the rink.

 Cost:  Free!  Feel free to bring a non-perishable food item for Harvesters as a token of your appreciation.
