2025-2026 Membership Fee

The 2025-26 curling season will be divided into 3 sessions (each session is 9 games over 10 weeks):

○     Session 1, Fall : 9/28 - 12/6 (10 weeks)

○     Session 2, Winter: 12/7 - 2/21 (11 weeks, off the week of 12/21 - 12/27)

○     Session 3, Spring: 2/22 - 5/2 (10 weeks)

 Cost: 

Adult Membership $80 and 10 hours of volunteering

Junior (age 20 or younger) Membership $40

*membership rates will be prorated if join during a later session.

• Adult Prorated Rate $80/$60
• Junior Prorated Rate $40/$30

Member benefits: 

• Membership is required to play in a league
• Membership is good for the entire curling season
• KC Curling membership includes your GNCC membership
• Members can sub (for free!) for any paid league spot. This will be organized among the teams and the league manager.  [Non-members pay $25]
• Subbing for an unpaid spot (for a team that has fewer than 4 paid players) is $25 per game. [Non-members pay $25]
• Practice time, when available, is also free, but is limited to a first-come first-served basis. [Non-members pay $25]
• Membership includes voting rights at the annual meeting
• On-ice and off-ice coaching will be available throughout the week for members (for free)

Membership Volunteer Policy: 

• Members will be required to work 10 volunteer hours for the full year.  The year begins August 1st and ends July 31st. Curlers that are only members for part of the season will work 4 hours per curling league session. New curlers will start during their 2nd league. As an extra incentive, any member that works 40 hours over the course of the membership year is eligible for 50% off their membership the following year. 
• If a member does not complete their volunteer hours, their non-volunteer fee will need to be paid prior to being allowed to register their membership the following year.  The non-volunteer fee is $100 for the year. The fee will be prorated based on the number of league sessions participated in. For instance: 2 league sessions= $80, 1 league session=$40.
